Chest Congestion Relief PE 400 mg 60 Tablets

Active Ingredients

• Guaifenesin USP - 400 mg
• Phenylephrine HCl - 10 mg

Directions

Adults and Children 12 years of age and over

• Take 1 tablet every 4 hours as needed
• Do not take more than 6 doses in any 24 hours
• Do not exceed recommended dose

Children 6 years to 12 years of age

• Take 1/2 tablet every 4 hours as needed
• Do not exceed 3 tablets in 24 hours

Children under 6 years of age

• Consult a doctor

Keep out of Reach of Children

Do not use if

• You are taking a prescription MAOI, certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains the MAOI, ask a healthcare professional
• Imprinted seal under cap is broken or missing

Ask a doctor before use if you have

• A cough with too much phlegm (mucus)
• Heart disease, thyroid disease, excessive phlegm (mucus), Persistent or chronic cough, such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis or emphysema, high blood pressure, diabetes, difficulty in urination due to enlarged prostate gland

Stop use and ask a doctor if

• Nervousness, dizziness or sleeplessness occurs, symptoms are accompanied by fever, rash, persistent headache or excessive phlegm (mucus), cough & congestion do not improve within 7 days or tend to recur (these could be signs of a serious condition)

If pregnant or breastfeeding

• Ask a healthcare professional before use
